Whatnots

Hi,

just some small items made last week.
...a small apron sporting a big pocket divided in two, because I sooo love to listen to music or talk with my sister when I work in the kitchen...

 ... a pink key holder...
 ... a pinkish one...
...this is my cat Kira watching over...
 ...a matching pink mobile holder...
 ...and the pinkish one...
...this is a small mascara purse for my sister...
 ...she likes owls...
...the purse with a mathing mobile holder...

... here is what I intend to sew for the next charity shop, it will take place in April...
... I hope little girls will love the pink and pinkish tote with the assorted mobile holder and key holder...
 ... or just the tote...

...until then, my loyal he-cat stays guard...
Happy sewing!

Last day of the winter holiday

I would like to present our latest family member. It is a 6 months old puppy, Vackor.
My eldest son found him in August 2015.
He was so scared to be alone, he used to grab our hands with his teeth and never let go.

He is such a goof now !

I would like to sew more this year than in 2015. Maybe not every day and just small stuff, like this table runner I managed to make from beginning to end in just one day (jan.8). It is for my sister, she likes orange.

...and in detail:

Take care and have a nice week-end!

Hi there.

Continuing to remember 2015.

I made this jewels holder for my sister, back in August, for her birthday.

And the key holder is also for her. She wanted an owl. She got one.

These mobile holders were made for a charity event, in December. I must say, after ten minutes they were all sold.

But enough!
This is my cat, Kira, today, wishing me a happy new year ... in his own way.

And last, but not least, this is my very first quilt made this year, from start to finish. I made it for my aunt, for her birthday, in January 1st. She was delighted.

Have a nice day!

I discovered Zentangles and Doodles and I enjoyed drawing these little ones. They illustrate my husband's book of (science) fiction short stories.

I made this small quilt for a niece, Dalia.

This is my summer - tote. It was so fun to make!

This one is for a friend, I hope she liked it.

This is my younger boy, Greg, and our He-cat, Kira. Friends for life, those two.

Kira, on a lap quilt. I didn't finish it, it needs binding. Maybe this year...

These key-chains are for two sisters, Emi and Corinna.

Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Mustard, one of my mother's cats. He was killed by a car.

These two are Monster (the cat) and Puki (the dog). They passed over too, this year. Puki (aged 14) died of cancer and Monster (aged 4) disappeared and never came back. My mother still waits for him.

We rescued these two bandits from under a train, literally. They are Panda and Blanca.

 Look, how small they were!

Tomorrow I will post some of my sewings from 2015.
